Oulu Innovation Alliance organizes the Technology Disrupting Finance event at Lasaretti, Oulu, on the 17th of January, 2017.
At Oulu Business School, the responsible party for the event is the research project Redefining Digital Opportunities (ReDO), run by the SHARP research group of Martti Ahtisaari Institute. The contact person is Saila Saraniemi.
Digitalization and new technologies, such as blockchain, cryptography, Internet of things, 5th generation wireless solutions, and artificial intelligence together with new governance and regulation concepts and rapidly changing customer needs will disrupt the finance market remarkably.
In the event such experts as David M. Brear, CEO and founder of 11FS, and Luis Martin, CEO of Barrabes, share their thoughts about opportunities in emerging finance businesses.
