VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and Martti Ahtisaari Institute have carried out a joint project on the effects of industrial internet on business environments and models.
Moreover, four IT companies were associated with the project, developing and piloting their own industrial internet solutions together with the researchers: Absent Ltd., F-Secure Plc, HiQ Finland Ltd. and IoLiving Ltd. For example, IoLiving created new digital services in the project and Absent could pilot their new software product together with their customers.
The project was funded by Tekes, the Finnish Funding Agency for Innovation, in addition to the project participants. At Martti Ahtisaari Institute the key researcher in the project has been Marika Iivari.
