The best paper award given to a 5G business model study

A paper based on the ongoing research of 5G wireless mobile networks, addressing the emerging ecosystemic business models, was selected as the best policy program  paper of the IEEE International Symposium on Dynamic Spectrum Access Networks, in October 2018 in Seoul, South Korea.

The paper "Business Models for Local 5G Micro Operators” was written by Petri Ahokangas (Martti Ahtisaari Institute), Marja Matinmikko-Blue (CWC of the University of Oulu), Seppo Yrjölä (Nokia), Veikko Seppänen (Martti Ahtisaari Institute), Heikki Hämmäinen (Aalto University), Risto Jurva (CWC) and Matti Latva-aho (CWC).

This paper and another one by the authors, on spectrum valuation approaches of local 5G networks in shared spectrum bands, were invited to be published in the IEEE Transactions on Cognitive Communications and Networking journal.
