Petri Ahokangas of Martti Ahtisaari Institute has been nominated as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Business and Management of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Aalborg University, Denmark, from April 1st 2020 to March 31st 2025.
Aalborg University was established in 1974 and is known, among other, from its problem-based and project-oriented teaching, and from its collaboration with the surrounding society. The university has close to nineteen thousand students, many of whom are international. The university has been ranked as one of the best and most acknowledged international universities in the world.
The Faculty of Social Sciences of the university carries out research and educational activities aiming at the highest standard and at disseminating knowledge and research results to the general public.
Petri Ahokangas in specialized international business research, including especially business ecosystems and models in the context of emerging technologies related for example to future wireless communication solutions, energy, smart city and connected health.
