Grants provided for doctoral researchers

The Tauno Tönning Foundation has awarded grants for doctoral research. Altogether 46 researchers received grants, totaling to 197 000 euros. The foundation is the biggest in Northern Finland that supports research at the University of Oulu.

The doctoral research of several persons of Oulu Business School, the University of Oulu, was supported. One of them is Hamideh Saadatmanesh of Martti Ahtisaari Institute, who received a grant for her research on managing businesses in the context of connected and digital health. She is one of the researchers in LNETN, an EU Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions funded project on the legitimation of newness and its impact on EU agenda for change.
