A landmark e-Health services research article to be published

Deriving from the results of the Digital Health Revolution (DHR) project, a landmark article was accepted for publication on how consumers adopt preventive e-health services based on emerging MyData solutions.

The article "Consumer Adoption of Future MyData-Based Preventive eHealth Services: An Acceptance Model and a Survey Study" by Timo Koivumäki and Minna Pikkarainen of the Martti Ahtisaari Institute and Saara Pekkarinen, Minna Lappi, Jere Väisänen and Jouni Juntunen of the Department of Marketing of Oulu Business School will be published in the Journal of Medical Internet Research, a leading scientific journal for digital medicine, health and healthcare.

The paper combines key factors of the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology and health behavior theories to a model and apply the quantitative structural equations modeling approach in order to analyze the relationships between the variables of the model. Data for the study was collected using a quantitative questionnaire survey, as a part of the DHR project coordinated by the University of Oulu.
